With exciting news that Coaster Radio coming back I was overwhelm by the news that X-Men 1 and 2 director Brain Singer’s is set to do a new big screen redone of “Battlestar Galactica”. I’m just so thrill about this. I a big fan of both the Battlestar Galactica show’s from the 70’s and the Ron Moore update. But with the story conclude of Ron Moore’s Battlestar Galactica and it’s prequel Caprica show it bring the Battlestar arc back to zero. The big thing here was Brain Singer’s was involved with the re-introduction of the 70’s Galactica into the year 2001-2002. Picking up where the last episode from the 70’s show the Galactica still continues to search for earth and a new threat from the cylon bring’s the threat closer to home. Here was some concept art.

This were set’s that were made for re-vamp show before it was cancel by the event’s of 9/11 and Brain Singer leaving the project for X-men 2.
But now Battlestar is coming back in a bigger way. I am not one to be a hard core fan of just one. I love to see more takes and I think this is great. If James Bond, Batman, and Star Trek can do it why not Battlestar. Hopefully this can bring Battlestar Galactica back to the US theme parks. I know I posted the Battlestar Galactica coaster for Universal Studios Singapore, but I hoping more like a dark ride, just because I think special effects benefit something like Galactica. Well, I can’t wait to see it on the big screen soon. Good luck Mr. Singer.

Just for info this was a early attempt to bring Galactica by one of the show star's Richard Hatch. This was there concept trailer.
