Game Nation - The first experiential video game theme park

Yep, you read that right.  It' looks like video game business is getting into the theme park business. The ideal of having your favorite video games as theme park attraction is getting start-up from Ruke Studios.  Here's a press release announcement about the new Game Nation theme park.
Quote:

Game Nation™ Announced Today
The Much Anticipated Experiential Video Game Theme Park and Resort Has Begun

Game Nation™ is the world’s first Experiential Video Game Theme Park and Resort. Visitors will become players as they step into a realistic re-creation of a world filled with myths, legends and arenas all crying out for their champion.  As you pass through the gates, you’ll leave behind all worldly stereotypes. You’re now one of millions, all equal, separated only by your skill, wit, and achievements, which will be proven. Your experience points and score are recognized by the guardians of this domain.  As players walk by, recruits are saluted and veterans are bowed down to.  You are guided to the armory where you must select your weapon.  You choose from majestic relics, whimsical hardware or advanced gear. Here your dreams and fantasies will come to life in adventures yet to be told. You will become anything you like and live out the character you create. But this is no game. It’s real! Welcome to Game Nation!

“I remember when I was younger and playing video games, soon after finishing a game, I would wish that world was real, so I could be part of it.”  said Ruke, Creator of Game Nation.  “It’s fantastic, that people will get to realize everything they have seen in a video game, is coming to life at Game Nation”.

In the next 12 months, Game Nation will be deciding the best location for the Experiential Theme Park.
You’re invited to join the adventure and be part of the Game Nation Army

So, from the looks of things this could be the most real awesome thing coming or maybe a MMORPG.  For some of you who don't know what a "MMORPG" is, it's define as Massive Multilayer Online Role Playing Game.  So, this could be no more then a "Second Life" clone or a World of WorldCraft rip for theme parks.  Here's a little more of this Theme park video game manifesto.

@BBGsite.com

Maybe this could be fun, or could be the dullest thing since Sitch Great Escape.  Playing on a online theme park game might be fun since Roller Coaster Tycoon hasn't coming out with a new product in some time. Well not until we heard about news of a movie coming down the pike.

So, are you ready to join Game nation

Then join in here the army as they say.
Game Nation Theme Park will be announce a location in 12 months from now. So we have to see if this is real or just a fud.
For some of you who want an idea of what this park might be like check out this link to a video of what some people think it will be like.

I warn you, it's pretty funny and strange.

Well here's the official link to the Game nation site, as well as, facebook link.

Not sure what to think about this.  Sounds like it could be interesting, but their main demographic, lives with their parents and their parents probably don't like games.  I don't know who would give them funding for a park in the real world, if Hard Rock Park was such a failure, just 2 years ago.  It will be interesting to see what happens.
