Here something that got me stun. Waiting without waiting for a attraction. What does that mean? Well Walt Disney World in Orlando has starting testing a new waiting system where you don't stand in a queue line. Over at Disney Hollywood Studios at the 'Rock N Roller' coaster Disney had setup area with shade, video games, Deli Sandwiches, and a DJ. TouringPlans.com twitted about this experience on how the new process work and snap some photo's to gaze upon.
So, how does it work. Here a break down.
1. People will be group together and ticketed with their assigned number.
2. An area with a DJ and arcade games like Guitar Hero arcade will be available to entertained.
3. A Deli stand and a close by gift shop will be accessible.
4. Groups can leave the stand by area as long as they are back within 5 min of there number being called.
So, what does everybody think about this new system. This is a prelude to some of the new stuff coming to the Magic Kingdom at Orlando.
That new Dumbo non-queue area and the character meet and greet for the fantasyland expansion are part of queueless waiting system line being testing now. So, will it work. Will it spread to other parks. Could Disneyland be able to do this? Will this revolutionize the waiting system. More importantly will the queue line go away where no more theme queue is needed. Probably not! But I due get this restaurant vibe feeling from this system and I could only hope in succeeding just to cut the wait time in all areas of the park.

I like the idea, but it seems it will require a lot more cast members than just lining people up. So, will Disney increase the payroll to ease our wait?
I hope they will give it a fair chance. _________________
You know that kind of strange there. Early this year Disney layoff a lot of people. Now with this new process it looks like they would need a lot of people to make this work. I kinda feel this may be worth the wait if it helps keep more people for losing jobs. I really like this idea too. I just hope it won't be a mess like they did with the restaurant table service where people must wait to have a table open before they can order. I know how hard it was to find a table during the busy time there. I hope Disney can work out the bugs with this process.
