When the fires Universal Studios Hollywood started one of it's victims was the King Kong attraction which was part of the tram tour. Now King Kong is coming back with a upgrade in technology. The new King Kong attraction is housing a 180 foot screen will curve around the tram which will drop tram passages into a battle with King Kong and a T-Rex. Getting this a new added twist is the 3D footage being done and odors system spray. This idea they using for bring back King Kong has got me thinking a lot more about bringing a ride system like this to something special. If these works, I think I have a plan I hope I can share where I can see this format work in bringing some attractions to life in a new way.
Here's to the return of King Kong.

Here's Peter Jackson talking about the ride. Hey isn't this Peter Jackson first theme park attractions.
Reading the post I was a little worried it would be a cheap way of putting Kong back in the park, but after hearing Peter Jackson describe it, the attraction sounds amazing. _________________

If anyone is going to check this out. Please give us a ride review of it. I'm looking forward to this one. _________________
This could actually be a very cool idea and if Pete is involved, knowing how much he loves to push technology, it will be amazing. I was just thinking of the applications this could have.. Great Movie Ride 2.0 anyone? _________________ Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you... But always dress for the hunt! Kungaloosh!
Universal Studios are releasing making of video of the new 3-D King Kong attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. Here's some the of the video of the making of attraction.
I hope it a big success. If so, maybe Peter Jackson might bring the Lord of the Rings into the Universal theme parks. That would be so AWESOME to do. Lord of the Rings theme park after Harry Potter is just a great combo to have.
