Here's a ride that hasn't made big talk with the coaster fans for some reason.  But over at Epcot at the Innovations center a new type of simulator thrill ride has been getting the crowds.  It's called the "Sum of all thrills" and this type of ride uses the robo-arm technology.

This picture above shows the robo-arm in action at Epcot for the "Sum of all thrills" ride. One thing interesting here is that it's arm/coaster/robo tech is what's been rumor to be the ride system for the new Harry Potter ride at Island of Adventure.
So, the idea here for the "Sum of all thrills" is the guest create there own ride system based on a roller coaster, bobsled, or jet airplane. After creating how the ride will run though your pre-determined track, the guest would ride there own creation on the robo-arm coaster system. This might seem similar to Disney Quest virtual Space Mountain ride, but unlike the Space Mountain this ride teaches you about math and science in the ride creation.

Here's some video of the ride "Sum of all thrills"

This ride/science/math ride is a cool way to learn about making coaster and see how it can ride. It's worth checking out. Has anybody done this? I'm sure looking forword to trying this out when I get back to Epcot.  One neat feature is you can store your ride on a card that can be log onto a official MathMovesU web sit for the official "Sum of all thrills" ride.  The site can explain more about your ride and the math and sciences behind them.  Here's official link's to the ride and facebook sites.
