Stingray here: Enjoyed the retrospect of IAAPA 2010. I was hoping you guy’s would do something since a lot of things came up making it hard for everybody to get out there. Great to to hear Brent and Ryan back on the show and giving us expert viewpoints from IAAPA since they were there. Also, awesome to hear business is picking up in the industry. Their was a lot of doom and gloom talk from years pass with the economy being down that we wouldn't get any new attractions. With failures like Hard Rock Park, and Dubiland, it seem no real big investments where going into the U.S parks for the foreseeable future. But things are turning around and new coasters and rides are coming online in the future to a lot of U.S parks. As long as good old fashion hand shakes and beer consumption are going on. That means a lot of deal making is getting done. Which of course, translate to good things for us the guest, theme park fans, and coaster warriors all waiting for the next great thing to come along.
For those wanting to hear the panel Disney Legends Marty Sklar and Mickey Steinberg, moderated by former Imagineer Bob Rogers. Inside the Magic podcast had the whole thing record for episode 294 of Inside the Magic podcast. Here’s a link to the show and the show notes of the panel.

We plan on hitting IAAPA hard next year, so hopefully we'll get a little more in-depth coverage for 2011. As for Dubai... Done Bro! Unfortunately it's not going anywhere. Look at China & South Korea for Big Park Destinations. Thanks for the link to Inside The Magic. I Actually listened to Ricky's recording of it a couple of days after we recorded this episode.
Once again Stingray - Great Job on the Forum Coverage!
