Things built for theme parks, but are not in one
It’s hard to believe, but easy to forget that people will do anything to bring the world of fantasy and imagination to life. Theme parks has always brought that world to life like no other.  But what happens when people channel their creativity to build something that shouldn’t belong or fit in the style of the time.  That was this post is about, something I hope people will like and I hope to continue in doing. Finding real world examples of theme park style creation only not found at theme parks.  So let me start, with a guy none for stating the music TV revolution long before MTV. The late Mr. **** Clark.

One of the surprising things to find out about **** Clark is he must have been a big Flintstone fan because his house in Malibu, CA shows all signs of fandom.

Yes, the late **** Clark Malibu house is very true to real life Flintstone house based on that popular cartoon. It’s crazy to see this house built right up to the inside keeping with the stone age motif. Here’s are just examples of the inside.

It’s crazy to see a real life looking Flintstone house since back in the 90’s their was 2 live action movie that were made. I wonder if this house was miss out in being in the films. Universal could have saved a lot of money on some of Fred’s house set here at Mr. Clark house.

It’s amazing how the house was built, if anything this belongs at a theme park. A place like Universal Studios Island of Adventure sure feel like the right fit for this house. Just imagine if you can spend a nite in this Flintstone style house. It’s would be a hot time share that’s for sure. If Universal get’s that idea from me, I want credit and cash. But, yeah! This is soild like a rock. Ha,ha...

From the stoneage to the space age. We head to the world of Alien. Welcome to the Giger Bar.   Based on the artwork of H.R. Giger who help create the design and look for the Alien movie and it’s spaceship.  This is probably the most creepy bar to drink at.

If Universal or Disney which still holds the rights to the first Alien movie thanks to the Great movie ride at Hollywood Studios. This place might be the best counter services restaurant to hang out at.  Or imagine going here during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal.

Here’s some video of the bar which is located in Switzerland

All this is part of the a museum based on Giger and other artist works, but the bar is the standout of the place. This feels like it should be a part of an Alien shooter dark ride. I mean it’s so cool. I a big fan of Alien series, but with a new movie based around the Alien universe coming out called “Prometheus” we could see something like this at the theme park someday.

From Alien to Star Trek comes this very cool built apartment that has a sad point. Tony Alleyne is a interior designer who spent a better part of 10 years $150,000 turning his London flat(apartment to us Americas) into part of the deck of the USS Voyager in the 23rd Century.

Now, I know that something like this has happen before.  The Star Trek Experiences at Las Vegas was pretty much in the same vain. Before unfortunately we have lost all Star Trek theme park attractions around the world.  But now that the reboot of Star Trek was a big success we could see something like this back, only based on the reboot in some way.
Here’s video walkthough of the Star Trek flat.

Now comes to sad, Mr. Alleyne is divorce and one of the terms of the divorce is that he is losing the Star Trek flat. So, while it may be lost, it’s one of those creation that belong at a theme park. So, if Universal or Disney, as well as, Paramount/CBS is reading this. We want Star Trek back at the theme parks. Here in the U.S, not China,Spain, those are fine, but don’t forget us here in America. We want a Star Trek ride back. NOW. Sorry, just my Trekkie fan geek rage showing again.

So, that's it for now. I hope everybody like this post. I thought of doing this as a April Fools joke, but I find the hard work people put into these projects to good not to say that it’s theme park quality. I sure want to continue doing post like this, just because it may not be at a theme park, but sure feels like it should be.  Let me know what you guys think. If you know of anything like this post them up.
