For awhile the developers of Bible Park USA have been trying to build their park in middle TN. For those who are unfamiliar with Bible Park heres their official link:

After being turned down by the previous county they came to our county. I live in Lebanon, TN and the land behind my job (Roxy Theater) is the land that developers wants. To my surprise, this past friday my theater held a town meeting to announce the approval of the Bible Park. Here are some links to news reports of the approval:

Wilson Post (our county's newspaper)

Local News Channel (the video shows my manager, Anita Sanders, talking about the positive impact of the park)

The Daily News Journal of Rutherford County (a local county)

I personally don't want the park to come. It doesn't seem like it will make an efficient amount of money that they think it will. I've already noticed from talk around the town that most of our residents think this is going to be a theme park with a lot of biblically themed rides, when it's really going to be a more interactive learning experience tageted for church and field trips. I think the turn out will be similar to Hard Rock Park, meaning people are going to come with a different thought and be disappointed when its not what they thought.

Not to mention there is another developer who is looking for land in my county, and a couple other surrounding counties, to build Ole South USA which sounds so much better and is reminiscent of Opryland USA. This is what I'm pushing for! Heres the link: http://www.olesouthusa.com/

What do yall think about this?

I'm curious to see how this Bible park turns out. I do agree with you that it may be like Hard Rock Park in attendance because it's audience will be limited to Christians.

As a Christian I want to see how this group pulls off all of the ideas that they have for the park because I want to see how they visualize the events of the Bible. You'll have to keep us update, e_tapley!
