HolaHey, glad to see you join the forums. Man this is awesome, more people from across the globe is showing the love for this industry. Hey maybe you can give us the inside scoop on the Hobbit movies or Star Wars live action TV show they are filming there. LOL,  Kidding, just kidding there. I know there some NDA contract there. Hope you have fun here and great to see more join in from Wellywood. That Wellywood name is from that sign they planning the build at New Zealand airport to show how the film industry is becoming great for the country.
Hey is that one of the Mad Max vehicles on your avatar icon there. I love those movies and looking forward to the Mad Max sequel Fury Road.

So you want inside information eh,... OK The Hobbit isnt happening. at least not yet. I know, big new right? To be honest we rarely knwo9 what is happening with these projects until the general public does. Not muchy secrecy anymore and if ther eis it is VERY well guarded. Plus, if I knew ANYTHING about the star wars shoot I would be MUCH more excited than I am. As I am a huge SW nerd.
As far a sthe car goes, that is actually a working, full sized Wart Hog from the Halo 3 game release we did.
A highlight for me I must say. Will posta pic of the thing full sized if I can find my favorite one.

Yes it can be a pretty tricky industry (much like Theme Parks I imagine) and gets more and more difficult to get into every year. Best advice I can give you there is volunteer for small productions, lots and lots of them oh and for the sake of sanity DO NOT quit your regular job. Made that mistake and trust me, that is no way to live.
