Marvel Super Heroes 4D at Madame Tussauds London @www.blogomatic3000.com
Coming to London this Summer 2010 is the Marvel Super Heroes 4D exhibition and 4D attraction film. In what looking to make Disney itch in bringing Marvel heroes into their parks, Madame Tussauds at London has one of the coolest attraction to feature Marvel Super Heroes from the movies interpretation in true current form. Not since Island of Adventure Marvel Island has Marvel heroes coming to life in such a unique way. Check out this promo for the exhibit.
One of the awesome attraction coming from this exhibit is a 4D 360-screen attraction film that really brings the action of the of Marvel heroes to life. The 4D film will have about 70 in-theater effects from ground vibration, wind machine, light effects and motion seat effects. Here's a video of the making of the whole exhibit and the 4-D attraction film.
Here's more video of some kids enjoying the Marvel exhibit with even a kids doing some nasty kicking at Iron Man. Also you can see some of the interactive display from the exhibit and 360 surrounding 4-D Marvel film.
All of this look's so cool, but it makes me a little sad. I wish Island of Adventure could take a cue from this exhibit in bring more Marvel attraction to Universal Island of Adventure like this. But with the Disney deal made already, I just waiting for the day Marvel leaves Island of Adventure forever. I just hope whatever theme park or new one that is built that they following something like this then some terrible cross-over Mickey/Spider-Man ride. I'm hoping they don't treat Marvel at the theme parks as they did with Alien Encounter rehab into Stitch's Great Escape.
If anyone going to this exhibit at Madame Tussauds in London, please gives us a trip report. I would love to hear how that 4-D Marvel attraction is like. Maybe Nick Husdon could go, which may be more his speed then the London Dungeon walkthur(love that episode he did from there). Well to quote Stan Lee. "Nuff said".
