Another video game based on a theme park: Xbox Kinect Disneyland
Well E3 2011 has past and gone, but nothing leaves a note then what gets announce for the coming year and beyond. While nothing really surprising was relieved one thing did pop out for all us theme park fan geeks.
Disneyland Adventure Kinect Xbox 360
The magic of the mouse and the power of Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect system team up to give you Disneyland Adventure Kinect. This is a full motion body control game where you enter the first and still classic Disneyland park at California to experiences the rides and attraction in a whole new way. Whether it’s flying with Peter Pan or going on the Big Thunder Mountain it’s all there to enjoy for the whole family to get their Disney park fix. I wonder what they going to do for Mr. Toad Wild Ride, since this is a ride I miss so much at the Magic Kingdom. Here’s some video and demo of the new Disneyland Adventures Kinect.
Well, most of E3 was just game related, the usual stuff like your Call of Duty, Gears of War, Uncharted sequel and so on. But Nintendo game came out with a new console which they hope will continue on the success the Wii had brought them by making a iPad-like controller for a new console system called the Wii U.
Nintendo new Wii U console has got the fanboy’s raging glee like hell. But all kind of fanboy’s like Disney or Apple rage about anything coming out from the favorite company. It not getting the sort of awe that the Wii or Xbox Kinect had done in the past. Only time will tell and software about whether this will be a hit.
One game I’m interesting but holding judgement on is Star Wars Kinect. I hoping this will work, but a lot of the game looks to be on rails. Lets hope there something there to play.
Well, that’s all from this year E3. While there was something theme park related like Disneyland Adventures Kinect maybe we see a Epcot, or Universal Studios game like the they did for the GameCube, Toy Story Mania Wii or even a Six Flags one. Here just a few examples for some video game theme park games from the past.
This sounds really interesting. I don't have that game system and doubt i'd buy it just for this, but the possibilities of experiencing the Disneyland rides is pretty amazing. I'll be curious to read more once this game is released.
