A gracious soul has posted the classic movie on Youtube! I remember this from way back when I was little. It scared the heck out of me back then. Other than that, I was excited that that parts of the movie was filmed in nearby parks (Ocean View & Kings Dominion) and featured Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Distributed by Universal, the movie centered around a psycho extortionist (Timothy Bottoms) who blackmailed amusement park companies by placing radio controlled explosive devices on major park attractions. George Segal starred as a park safety inspector who worked with officials to catch him.

The first scene was shot at the former Ocean View Amusement park in Norfolk VA. (A park which I enjoyed when I was barely too young to remember!)

The middle build-up of the movie takes place at a "young" Kings Dominion. It featured footage of the Rebel Yell and the former Hanna Babera Land.

The action/suspense continued to Six Flags Magic Mountain for the july 4th debut of the "world's first looping" roller coaster. It's cool to see how all of the parks evolved over the years.

The last podcast reminded me of this classic and I was thrilled to see it online. Give a special thanks and a rating to "oldclassicmovies" for this classic!

Here it is in all 12 parts:
