The Beatles have Abby Road, Elvis has Graceland, now Michael Jackson has Neverland Ranch. The LA Times have reported that Michael Jackson Neverland Ranch will be turn into a museum, performing arts, golf course, hotel and theme park. About 100 acres of land is planned for development with ground breaking to start in Gary, Ind later in 2010. A lot of the rides from Michael Jackson Neverland Ranch in California will relocated to this new theme park with zoo's and natural persevere to accompany the complex. One ride to said to be in the works is the "Thriller" roller coaster. At a cost of 1 billion dollars for the next 10 years, it will be a on-going project to complete the complex.
You know I'm not sure how this is going to turn out or if any of these will come true, but it's sure sound's like a lot plan here. I would like to share something about Michael Jackson and theme parks. Back in the 90's Michael had team with Prince Al Waleed to create Kingdom Entertainment. One of the projects that was plan was Neverland theme park. Here some concept art of this project plan.

Here's the enterance to the Neverland park. The opening to London is just one of the big theme though out the theme park.
Just walking around the park you get a since of London as a old time feel.
Here is one of the main attractions that is very unique. This concept is where you fly with Peter Pan but you are on board a flying coaster. As you look down you would see a omnimax dome it will show you scenes of the skyline of London and other great moments from Peter Pan adventure. This is kind of a Soarn
on a coaster type of ride. Very cool ideal and makes me wonder if this could still work now for some other type of ride. A coaster with a Imax movie playing is a cool idea there.
Here at lost boys island guest can ride coaster, swings, as well as, boat ride.
Of course, no Peter Pan is without a show. Here Peter battles Captain Hook in a show spectacular to enchant all.
Here are concept map art of how the theme park will grow with more attractions to be added in later years.
Now before anybody say's BS on this. Here is a video with Michael about this Kingdom project.
So, it seems Michael was moving in on Disney theme park biz, but a falling out between his partnership that left this project on the drawing board.
Here's some interesting trivial. Did you know the Michael Jackson own shares of Landmark entertainment. Michael had a 5% while his partner Prince Al-Waleed had 45% of the company that know for creating Spider-man the ride, and T2-3D which had well know company director Gary Goddard.
So if you want to know more about this project. Check out Disney and more blogspot. As for the new Michael Jackson theme park, well we see what's come out. This looks to good to be true. But hey if Elvis has Graceland, so can Michael have his own park.
Here's the link to the concept Neverland theme park.
