With Avatar being the biggest hit movie in history, a Korean movie chain has plan to create 4-D effects for the Avatar movie. CJ-CVG Korean will add water, laser lights, and moving seats to the 3-D Avatar movie. If successful and good word of mouth comes from these added elements, plans are in place to have these 4-D effect come to America movie theaters as well. So, get ready to feell the movie in a whole new way just like you find at a theme parks 4-D film ride attractions.
Hey here's a Season Pass question for Brent Young. There a lot of talk from other podcast that the 4-D films are being less specialize to theme parks and more to your local theater. Some critics are saying that 4-D film are on the way out of the theme park and with the push for 3-D TV there might be no need for 4-D movie theme park attractions. So, what do you think this means for 4-D movies becoming more local? Will we it become a loss art or is this just another venue for more 4-D film to be release? For me it reminds me of what I-werks did back in the 80's and 90's.
