Hey all!
My name is Darren and I am a Special Effects Engineer way over here in New Zealand. Finally got some free time and have been wanting to get on this forum for a while. FINALLY!

Hey, glad to see you join the forums. Man this is awesome, more people from across the globe is showing the love for this industry. Hey maybe you can give us the inside scoop on the Hobbit movies or Star Wars live action TV show they are filming there. LOL, Kidding, just kidding there. I know there some NDA contract there. Hope you have fun here and great to see more join in from Wellywood. That Wellywood name is from that sign they planning the build at New Zealand airport to show how the film industry is becoming great for the country.

So you want inside information eh,... OK The Hobbit isnt happening. at least not yet. I know, big new right? To be honest we rarely knwo9 what is happening with these projects until the general public does. Not muchy secrecy anymore and if ther eis it is VERY well guarded. Plus, if I knew ANYTHING about the star wars shoot I would be MUCH more excited than I am. As I am a huge SW nerd.
As far a sthe car goes, that is actually a working, full sized Wart Hog from the Halo 3 game release we did.
