The great insightful podcast "How Stuff Works" had a podcast about "How Roller Coaster Work".  Done by the "Tech Stuff" guy's they discuss all about the history, as well as, the different type of coasters thought out the industry. Among the coasters mention are "The Great America Scream Machine, Goliath, and Millennium Force. Check it out. It's worth a listen too. Here's the link.

Here's a link to "How Stuff Works" blog with more details about Roller coaster and it's workings. Interesting note here, one of their sources is none other then "Roller Coaster Data base" website.

Here' something cool. The magazine Car and Drive did a VBOX measure test of "Top Thrill Dragster". It's result's was 0-60 MPH at 1.2 sec and 0-120 MPH at 2.8 sec. I'm surprise it work during there test. OHHH, sorry there you Top Thrill Dragster fans.
