Here is the article from KHTS AM-1220's HomeStation.com:

Man was reportedly in an unauthorized area when he was hit by Ninja ride.
UPDATE - 9:02 p.m

Six Flags Magic Mountain officials have confirmed that a man was struck by a ride at the park in Santa Clarita.

The incident, which involved a 20 year old man, occurred just after 4:00 p.m. Saturday. According to the park, the man scaled at least one fence and entered a “visibly restricted area.”

Once in the restricted area he was struck by the Ninja roller coaster. Magic Mountain officials report that park medical personnel were on scene within two minutes, and found the man unconscious but breathing. They contacted 911 and the man was transported to the hospital.

The park released a statement saying; “As required by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Ninja is surrounded by 6-foot and 7-foot fences that are clearly marked by signs stating the area is restricted to authorized personnel only.”

Sue Carpenter , spokesperson for Six Flags told KHTS that, according to the man's brother in law, he was attempting to retrieve his hat, which had fallen off on the ride.

His medical condition is not known.

Another stupid person climbs over a fence into an area that is clearly marked as unsafe.... One question: Why did it happen at Six Flags and not Cedar Fair or Disney? I don't think it will be as big of a deal as the one in Georgia, because this guy should have learned from the accident in Georgia. I'm hoping it doesn't hurt Six Flags as much as the other one did, they don't have a whole lot left to lose.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's sad the kid in Georgia died and that this guy was at least hurt. There is a reason that the area is marked unsafe though.

This guy is just lucky he won't be up for a Darwin Award this year.
But if he is stupid enough to risk his life for a baseball cap, he may win the award yet.

How is it?  Seriously... Why do all the morons in the US migrate to Six Flags?

Six Flags needs a  new slogan to warn the idiots.  "If you're dumb, don't come here to have fun!"

^ LOL!!!

I just don't understand it. Number one going into a restricted zone like that is strike one for being so stupid. Second, strike two for not being smart enough to tell someone working there that you lost something on the ride. Finally, how hard is it to hear a roller coaster coming towards you?! That's it! Final strike! lol but seriously you have enough time to get out of the way.
