According to chud.com Atari is swooping in to rescue the flailing game. But good news is, everyone from the original film is on board to voice characters, and the game will be out in 2010.

I read that some where else too. It's a great thing that Atari picked it up and wants to keep it going. It just wouldn't be the same if they didn't have the original actors to voice the characters, that is awesome.
It's going to be a long wait for 2010 to come around...

I heard the Ghostbusters game is supposed to be a "sequel" to the films... which all I can say is HELL YEAH!
Wazomike, is brutal legend the Heavy Metal game that Jack Black was voice acting for? I was reading about that game and it sounded outstanding!

it is also supposed to be featuring voice appearances from Rob Halford (Judas Priest) and Lemmy (Motorhead)
the story looked totally awesome
you play as a roadie who finds this special belt buckle and it gives you super powers
its kinda cheezy but it looked awesome

I read about this game, I don't know, a year ago I think in Game Informer and I was so excited about it! I think it is such a great concept idea because, let's face it, I think most gamers are of the genre that grew up watching Ghostbusters. I would love to see it make fun of the crappy sequel, how great would that be!!
I can't wait for this game to come out. I hope Doug's planning on getting it!! LOL
Heck, if The Terminator doesn't work out at SFMM, maybe they can adopt this theme instead. lol |
