Good show. It's always enjoyable when Shannon gets in on the podcasting. It's awesome getting her impressions on the stuff.

Holiday World seems like an awesome place! Gunna have to check that shizzle out.

And you can put any of the pics I got on that website up on the site if you want.

Great episode Doug!

I love Holiday World! This past summer I went for the first time and I been 4 times since then. I love the convenience of the free parking, drinks, and sunscreen. Recommend everyone at least take one visit in their lifetime lol. I'll definitely be there again this summer!

Also, I know the answer to why mid-way up the elevator your boat tilts and hopefully I can explain without confusing the s*** out of anyone. The base and very top of the elevator are the width of the boat. Since there are two holding tracks on the lift at one time (I don't know what to call the track parts that hold the boats while they're on the elevator lift), they are synchronized to move at the same time to pass each other in the middle of the elevator lift. To make room to pass each other, the lift goes outward causing to the boat to tilt to the side a little bit...

Here is a youtube video of the animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM87B_mKMlE

Notice at 0.35 as the boat is going up the lift's structure is pulled outward. At 0.41 it shows a POV of it. I think that would be the most thrilling part of it, especially for those who question the safety of rides.

As always great to hear Shannon on the show! I sadly don't have any info shows, because I'm not a big show person. Hopefully if yall need help on anything else I'll be able to give some suggestions.

BTW, I love the song Wheels, I think I bought that from itunes earlier this year lol.

An amazing $40! lol

BTW, very jealous of your close proximity of Dinseyland. That's definitely a must do trip for me in the future!

Yeah... I think we'll organize some kind of a Season Pass Outing at Holiday World for 2009.. if all goes to plan it'll be during HoliWood Nights.

BTW- The next set of Videos will be Orlando Based.
