Holiday World in Indiana is having a coaster event in May called HoliWood Nights.  It looks to be a great event with lots of extra perks.  The event should be amazing enough by itself, but on top of everything else, the Season Pass will be there.

If you are interested in going, here is some information I found.

Holiday World's web site
http://www.holidayworld.com/

HoliWood Nights information page
http://www.holidayworld.com/clubs/

Local hotels (from Holiday World's site)
http://www.holidayworld.com/lodging.html

I will be staying at Santa's Lodge.  As of Jan. 12 they had rooms for Friday and Saturday for $89 & $99 respectively.  The closest major airports I found were Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati.  None are real close, I will have to use Indianapolis and drive 3 hours (but it should be well worth it).

On the information sheet for HoliWood Nights, you will read that you need to belong to a coaster club.  Doug will be announcing a solution to that though the Season Pass and Ride World.

I am very excited about this trip and hope meet some of the other Season Pass listeners.

I have never been to the Park, but if anyone has any questions, feel free to post them and I will try to find the answers or maybe one of the other listeners will know.

Hope to see you there.

Wylder

Looking forward to seeing you in Indiana, Tap.

We have a little while until the Holiwood Nights event.  So, from time to time, I will try to post some things I have seen that look really cool about Holiday World.  Most are found on their site.  Also, you can go back and listen to The Season Pass episode 54.

Anyone who loves wooden coasters will enjoy the video of the Voyage from Holiday World's site.

I wish I was able to make it out there. It sounds like a fun event and an awesome park. I'll try and plan ahead for next year and save up some money to go to a coaster event. It would be a lot of fun to hang out with some of the other Season Pass listeners.

With last weeks podcast, it looks like the coaster safari just got bigger.

The trips schedule will be:

Thursday May 28 - Kings Island
KI will be open from 10am till 8pm that day.

Friday May 29 -starts in SF Kentucky Kingdom then to Holiday World:
SF will be open from 11am till 8pm, but to make it to HW we will have to leave by 2 or 2:30.
Entrance for Holiwood Nights begins at 6pm.

Here are some links for information on the parks:

Kings Islands web site

The Beast from the front seat.  Not the best video, but they have it in HQ

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

King Island is about 2 hours from Six Flags KK and KK is and hour and a half from Holiday World.

Even with the harsh weather most of the country has had this winter (from what I have seen on TV, Florida has had great weather this winter), Holiday World is getting closer to opening the world's tallest water ride.
They have a video of part of Pilgrims Plunge's hill going up, on their blog.

84 days left until the great Season Pass meet at Holiday World.
