I went there in '07, right towards the end of the Paramount reign, and remember seeing any merchandise with the paramount name on it being sold at an incredible discount. I enjoyed the park, but obviously with the addition of Diamondback, the park experience is probably a little better now.
One thing's for sure, Son of Beast is by far the worst coaster I've ever been on. After being jack-hammered in the back during that helix, all I wanted was for the ride to end so I could get off. Unfortunately, there was still over a minute to go. Just plain terrible. _________________ New Orleans Saints Super Bowl XLIV Champions!
^Thank you all for the kind words. We had an absolute blast recording this one and the response has been crazy positive. I've received more feedback on this episode (emails, facebook, forums, voicemail, etc.) than any other. We'll make sure to put an "After Park Review Podcast" on the MUST-DO list for each TSPP trip.
However, it's not possible without the listeners... Darrell, Deanna and Shawn were instrumental for this recording!
