Hey guys,
As a lot of you probably know by now, we are going to be going to Orlando in less than 2 weeks (ohmygod) and we have been discussing it amongst ourselves and, while we are not big theme park show watchers (even at Disney) we did enjoy the Aladdin show at the Hyperion in DCA and we were curious what were the "Oh my God, you can't miss this show" shows at WDW, Universal and IOA, Busch Gardens and Seaworld. We want to make sure we get the full effect of our Orlando experience, you know.
Now, keep in mind, we are going to Seaworld on the same day we get there, which is via a red eye flight leaving at midnight our time here on the West Coast and arriving in Orlando at 10 am. East Coast time......so we can't guarantee any integrity to our show reviews for that day......Except for Brent's amazingly awesome Believe whale show, I'm sure that will be completely without flaw.
But, we have never been to any of these parks, which is rare for us, it's been a pretty long time since we've been in that situation. LOL, I felt like such a tourist today when I was printing out maps to and from each park......!!
At the studios
Indiana Jones Stunt Show
Light Motors Action
also i didnt really like it but my mom loved the Finding Nemo musical at animal kingdom _________________
At Disney World there are a few to me that stand out.
First definetely see all the special Nighttime Entertainment (Spectromagic, Wishes, Illuminations, Fantasmic) there my favorites.
When you guys are there all the Christmas Decorations & Attractions will be up & running. I have never been during this time, so I really don't know too much about whats good whats not. Also are you guys doing the Christmas Party @ Magic Kingdom?
As far as regular day to day live shows, to me there are four that stand out.
As wazomike mentioned the two stunt shows at the studios are very good and worth seeing. I prefer Lights Motors Action to Indy.
I think the best shows in WDW exist at Animal Kingdom. The two live shows there are my two favorites at any park anywhere. The Festival Of The Lion King is a very lively show with lots of action and performers. Finding Nemo The Musical is my favorite theme park show anywhere, the music is outstanding and the puppets are top notch. I only saw the movie once and didn't care for it, but LOVE the musical stage show.
Have a blast on your trip!! _________________ A Walk In The Park Podcast & Blog Host, In The Loop Co-Host
